Springboks head coach Rassie Erasmus has taken a moment to share a heartfelt message to South African women ahead of the highly anticipated clash between the national rugby team and Australia.

Mzansi celebrated Women's Day on Sunday, August 10, 2025, and Erasmus used the platform to join other prominent South Africans in celebrating women.

The Boks coach recently reunited with his former wife, Nicolene Erasmus, to celebrate the 21st birthday of his twin daughters, Nikki and Carli Erasmus. They also have another daughter, Janie, who is the youngest among the three.

Erasmus sends special message to SA Women

The Springboks' official page on Instagram shared a video of Erasmus delivering a special message to women while also praising them.

The 52-year-old also showed love to the South African female rugby national team squad, as they will be playing in the World Cup this year.

Erasmus while honouring the South African women mentioned that the men are nothing without them.

"Please know that we always appreciate you, especially our women [Women’s Springboks] who are playing in the World Cup this year. We are nothing without you," he said.
