Photos Show Celebrations in Gaza as Israel & Hamas Peace Agreement Begins

The people of Gaza can finally breathe easily after their country entered into an unconditional cease-fire agreement with the people of Israel. Gaza streets were filled with cheers as Palestinians celebrated the sound of fireworks instead of bombs and grenades.
Their jubilation comes after a peace deal was brokered in Egypt that brought an end to the 10 days of violence and unrest between Israel and Palestinian people that started after a group of Israeli forces stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem.

Insider reports that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has agreed to contribute towards getting Gaza back to its former state. He did however add that he would not be working with Palestinian and not Hamas authorities.
The New York Times reported that Hamas authorities have promised to keep to the agreement as long as the other side holds up their end of the bargain.
Briefly News previously reported that a report by Reuters indicates that no fewer than 20 people, including nine children, were killed by Israeli airstrikes in Gaza amid violent clashes over Jerusalem, Palestinian officials have confirmed.
The airstrikes were launched after Palestinian militant groups fired rockets close to the holy city on Monday, May 10. According to Israel’s military, the strikes were carried out against armed groups, rocket launchers and military posts in Gaza after militants fired on the area for the first time since 2014.
It was gathered that the fight between the armed factions started as a result of clashes between Palestinians and Israeli police at Al Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem.
