Big Zulu has taken to social media to share a video of himself busy at the gym training for his #CelebrityBoxing match. In the clip, the muscular rapper is seen sparring with his trainer.
Mzansi social media users hilariously shared that King Monada should just cancel the match. The Limpopo-born singer challenged Nkabi to the boxing meet recently.
A few days ago, the Inhlupheko hitmaker posted that he's ready to get into the ring with any Mzansi celeb. It seems like he was serious when he said so, judging from the video below:
Divided responses on social media
Tweeps took to Nkabi's comment section and shared mixed reactions to his post. While some said Big Zulu is slow, others warned King Monada to back down from the bout. Check out some of the comments below:
"Khohlwa mfana, you don't belong in a boxing ring unless you want to be embarrassed by a smaller opponent. Estradini you would win, not in a boxing ring NO."
"I agree with you, physical strength doesn’t equate to punching power."
"You move too slow, a faster opponent will knock you down, even your guard is down exposing your face."
"NB: King Monada is from Limpopo."
"Aah no no Big Zulu, you need Mike Tyson himself. A proper heavyweight."
"Heban chief kante o serious (you're serious), @KingMonada was just joking."
"Lol! After watching this, Monada with a proper boxing trainer would knock you out in 5 rounds max."
Big Zulu agrees to the challenge
In related news, Briefly News reported that it’s lit in the Mzansi music industry and things have gotten even crazier. King Monada has now challenged Big Zulu to a boxing match. The Limpopo-based music producer took to social media to send out his message to Big Zulu:
“I challenge Big Zulu to a boxing match. I am waiting for him to accept.”
He added a picture of himself standing in a boxing stance. Big Zulu received the message loud and clear and issued his own sceptical response:
"Aw yey akekho oncono? (Is there no one else?)"
Eventually, the rapper agreed to the challenge and asked King Monada for the date of the bout.
