Nicki Minaj's mom, Carol Maraj, has opened up about how her kids motivated her to walk away from her abusive marriage.
Carol shared that the popular US rapper always asked her why mom would let her late father, Robert, treat her the way he did. Robert passed away in February this year, long before they reportedly made peace with Carol.

Nicki's mom has written a book titled Leaving My Pain. She reveals that she left the relationship because she feared it would negatively influence her three children.
In the book, Carol describes an incident that took place on 31 December, 1939. According to HollywoodLife, the 61-year-old said Robert had hit her and dragged her from the car on the day.

According to the UK-based sneaker community, Nicki's post personally contributed to a 4,900% growth in sales for pink Crocs.
The 38-year-old musician's fans have reportedly bought tons of stock from the footwear brand after their fave gracefully donned them in her recently-posted snap. Tweeps shared mixed reactions to the increase in Crocs sales after Nicki's pics. @Roman_the_goat_ said:
