Briefly News has learned US President Joe Biden's wife Jill Biden turned 70 on Thursday, June 3.
Following the milestone, the American First Lady thanked God for having seen her through the 70 years she has been on planet Earth.
Her birthday could not be complete without good wishes from her loved ones and close friends such as former US First Lady Michelle Obama.
To celebrate Jill on her big day, Michelle to her official social media pages and shared a photo of herself on stage with Biden's wife, followed by a warm birthday wishes message.
In her message, Michelle described Jill as a great friend, mother and leader who has led America with grace and empathy.
''Happy birthday, @DrBiden! You’re such a great friend—and even better wife, mom, and grandmother. Thank you for leading with such grace and empathy, and for being so authentically you. Here’s to more laughing, more singing, and more good times in the months and years ahead. ,'' Michelle wrote.
Many people were touched by Michelle's message to Jill with quite a number wishing they heard such friends.
Briefly News understands President Joe Biden took Thursday off to celebrate First Lady Jill Biden's 70th birthday at their vacation home in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware.
According to the First Lady's spokesperson, Biden and Jill spent quality times in the beach town where they both arrived on Wednesday, June 2.
The White House Press Pool confirmed that Biden and wife started their morning and spent a better part of the day biking along the Gordons Pond Trail at Cape Henlopen State Park while surrounded by Secret Service.
