If you mention Zwane, you will be chased and killed - Zondo hears

- One of the intended beneficiaries of the Estina dairy farm project says there have been death threats made against him and others

- The beneficiary, Ephraim Dhlamini, says others have even been killed already

- Dhlamini alleges that one of the men making the death threats works for former mineral resources minister Mosebenzi Zwane

Ephraim Dhlamini, one of the intended beneficiaries of the Estina dairy farm project, says that he has evidence to prove that there have been threats on his life.

Dhlamini made the statement while testifying before the Zondo Commission.

He has offered to share a video with the commission which he claims shows someone saying that Dhlamini must be killed, while another person offers to do the hit themselves.

Dhlamini was testifying with regarding to the Estinda dairy farm scandal. The project was meant to empower several small-scale farmers in the Free State but instead almost all of the R200 million set aside for the initiative ended up in the pockets of several companies and individuals linked to the Guptas, Briefly.co.za has gathered.

Dhlamini says that he is not the only Estina beneficiary who has been threatened. He says several of them have received death threats while some have even been killed. In particular, Dhlamini mentioned the name of former mineral resources minister, Mosebenzi Zwane.

"In Vrede, when you mention the name of Mosebenzi Zwane and the Vrede dairy farm, you won't sleep in your house," Dhlamini said, according to The Citizen. "You will be chased at night and killed."

Dhlamini added that Thuto Kganye, an employee of the Free State government, was one of those making the death threats. Dhlamini alleges that Kganye works for Zwane.
