An amusing video is being shared on social media showing UJ res students celebrating as they received their NSFAS allowance. The footage showed celebrations erupting in the building and even showed the festivities spilling onto the streets.

Twitter user Jusst Muzi shared the video on social media and it went viral. Many were amused at the clear joy and relief expressed by the students. It seems they had been waiting for a while for the payout and it couldn't have come fast enough. Some students blew vuvuzela's while others shouted "Ingenile!" (it's in).

A few more excited students jumped on window sills while others took to the streets to celebrate with others. Social media users were amused by the footage, while others even shared their own.
