Friendship is not just a word, seeing as it comes with expectations and obligations. Only true friends have been known to live up to these expectations.

Briefly.co.za spotted the report of a man who recounted how he and a group of friends contributed funds so one of theirs could get married.

According to Elder Seun (@iamseunalaofin) on Twitter, a friend of his kept on delaying getting married to his girlfriend of four years due to lack of funds.

Rather than leave the man to his plight, Seun revealed that he and some other friends rallied round to donate so a wedding could take place.

Seun concluded his message by saying people are blessed if they are surrounded by those who truly care for them.

Well, it seems many Nigerians are not so sure if Seun and his friends' act of kindness was the right thing as they wondered if they would also contribute to feed the family in future. Others, however, felt it was a sweet move and a sign of good friendship.
