About Flavius Mareka College

The facility offers higher learning and training to students. The college provides learnerships and skills programs, bridging courses, report 191 (NATED) courses, and National Certificate Vocational (NCV) courses. Learners can enrol for full-time or part-time studies, depending on the course being studied. The institution has three branches.

5. Office Administration

The course is taught at the Sasolburg Business Studies and the Kroonstad branches on a full-time study basis. You will need one year to study each of the sections from NQF Level 2 to 4.

Report 191 programs

These are NATED courses that are quality assured by Umalusi. You will need one and a half year of study in a college and another one and a half year of practical work in the industry. Engineering programs are offered from N1 to N6, while utility and business programs are offered from N4 to N6. 1. Engineering courses

These National Introductory Certificate programs are offered from N1 to N6 at the Mphohadi and Sasolburg branches.

Intro Business Studies

This is an introductory course (N4 Intro). It is taught at the Sasolburg and Kroonstad branches.

Business Management

Educare

Human Resource Management

Learnerships and skills programmes

This program is taken by individuals that want to get a qualification that is recognized in South Africa. Such a qualification is also registered by the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA). A skills programme, on the other hand, is work-based and ensures learner gains practical experience. The courses offered are as follows:

1. CISCO IT Essentials

This course is provided at the Kroonstad campus. You have the option to study for two hours two times a week for one semester or study for a total of 10 days for seven hours daily.

2. Basic Computer Training

This course is taught at the Sasolburg Business Studies campus. You can study seven hours a day for ten days or two hours twice a week for one semester.

3. International Computer Driving License (ICDL)

This course is offered at the Sasolburg campus on a full-time basis and at the Kroonstad campus on a part-time basis. The duration is one year for full-time students.

4. AAT – Accounting Qualification

The program is taught at the Sasolburg campus on a full-time basis. You need three years to complete the program. This is the best course for people that are eyeing careers in accounting or finance-related fields.

5. Electrical Program

Electrical is a special course that is administered together with partners from the industry. This course is taught at the Sasolburg branch on a full-time study basis, and it goes for four years.

6. Welding Program

This is also a special course offered at the Sasolburg branch on a full-time basis for four years.

7. Chemical Plant Operations
