Rapulana Seiphemo turns 53: 5 Quick facts to celebrate the actor’s day
Rapulana Seiphemo has become a familiar face on Mzansi screens. The talented actor is most known for his role as Tau Mogale on the defunct soapie Generations its continuation, Generations: The Legacy. Briefly.co.za gathered a few interesting facts to celebrate the thespian’s birthday.

Rapulana was born and raised in Meadowlands, South Africa.

Rapulana studied at Texas A&M University
3. Acting career
His acting career began back in 1989. Rapulana had starring roles in How to Steal 2 Million, the Oscar-winning Tsotsi and the sports drama Themba. He made a move from Generations: The Legacy to join Mzansi Magic's telenovela The Queen in early 2020.
4. Producing career
Rapulana Seiphemo and Kenneth Nkosi started a production company called Stepping Stone Pictures back in 2003 which they ran until 2015. Under Stepping Stone Pictures, they produced and starred in a film titled Paradise Stop. They produced a 13 part drama series for SABC 1 called Task Force as well as numerous content for Mzanzi magic including Laugh Out Loud (LOL).
5. Awards
In 2002, he was nominated for a Duku Duku award for best actor for his role in Generations - he won.
Briefly.co.za previously reported that Rapulana is a super talented actor – The Queen team is definitely on a mission to crank up the litness of the show into overdrive. Other new and hella talented additions to The Queen are Menzi Ngubane, Jessica Nkosi and Brenda Ngxoli.
Rapulana played the widely known role of Tau on Generations : The Legacy. Now playing the role of Hector Sebata, Rapulana has transformed into a high-ranking police colonel who has many sides to him.
In other news, Briefly.co.za previously reported that the plot continues to thicken in the drama involving Zoe Mthiyane and Rapulana Seiphemo's messy break up. It has now been alleged that the third force in the relationship is Mfundi Vundla's granddaughter Zandile Tshukulu.
The Daily Sun alleged that Rapulana and Zandile even have a baby together. The one month old was conceived during Rapulana's relationship with Zoe.
The publication further reports that Zandile works in the admin department of Generations: The Legacy. Rapulana was dating both women at the same time but broke it off with Zoe in order to make it official with Zandile.
