- His Twitter post featured a picture of the artist painting an exceptionally well-done portrait

- Soon the post was flooded as different locals offered clues as to who the talented young artist was

Hundreds of South Africans recently sprung into action after influential South African Tumi Sole asked for help locating a talented young artist who he apparently wanted to urgently get in touch with.

Taking to Twitter, Sole shared a picture of the young South African artist standing next to an incredibly detailed and well-done portrait that he was seemingly adding a few finishing touches to.

"Please help @TembekaNgcukai1 & I to locate this artist," Sole captioned the Twitter post.

Twitter was seemingly the right place to start the search as soon many South Africans started offering bits and pieces of information about the mystery artist. Others simply complimented his work.
