An Instagram influencer, Keabetswe, @akreana_, took to Twitter to share a snap of her hair. She captioned the snap with "Natural hair".
Mzansi loved what she was saying and soon many other tweeps posted pics of their own "natural" hair.
With most people claiming that if it grows out of your head it is natural while other disagreed about that.
Here are some reactions from Twitter users:
@Dineo0111:
"The hair is beautiful, but calling it natural Kea Hana. Chemically processed hair can't be considered natural, and I'm not fighting!"
@Nteb00geng:
"Here's not beautiful natural million-dollar hair. I decide which style I want, depending on my mood."
@van_peeblez:
"I miss those days when Men went to war and died ,Now they arguing about women’s hair."
@GaziNyasha:
"Healthy hair is healthy hair, but, natural hair is unprocessed hair. Chemicals are used to alter the curl pattern & it can't revert back unless you grow it out of your scalp again. Hair products don't do that. It's like the difference between using lotion vs bleach on your skin."
