In the clip, officers use shovels as they work hard to clear sand from around the tyres of the police vehicle which are lodged firmly in the beach sand. In the background, right behind the officers, the tide is quickly rising, threatening to wreak havoc on the already trying situation.

"Let’s all go and help them! Oh dear, I forgot we aren’t allowed on the beaches! Sorry chaps!"

"Not really. Serves them right. In a country with 58 murders, and plenty more rapes and acts of GBV per day, they're on the f***king beaches."

"Always love to watch stupid people being stupid."
In other Briefly.co.za news that had SA laughing out loud, Twitter user @radebe_james uploaded a video of a prank on the job site that went viral. A woman whom we can assume to be the manager fakes a fit, she does it so convincingly the staff in the toystore are sent running.
@radebe_james thought it was hilarious and captioned the video with:
"I never laughed so hard yerr ."
However, some people did not understand what was happening and got an education from other tweeps, explaining that it was a prank. Many of them also shared how the clip left them laughing their butts off.
