DJ Tira recently shared some photos from a gig in the Eastern Cape, East London and no one in the pictures appeared to be wearing masks. There was also no social distancing practised.
President Ramaphosa has eased the country to Level 1 of the lockdown but issued a warning that a third wave is a possibility if people do not follow regulations.
It seems this warning is a valid one and should be heeded by all.
DJ Tira captioned his post:
"Okay East London! What a night! @ohmi_ginbar Thank you."
This is not the first time the DJ has shared pictures from his gigs where he did not stick to Covid-19 regulations. Instagram users expressed their concerns over the lack of safety precautions. One Instagram user named sasana584 said:
“Masks?”
Briefly.co.za had previously reported that DJ Tira took to social media to share what would have been a fire selfie. However, it ended up going a little wrong when some noticed that he was not wearing his face mask correctly.
The head of Afrotainment took to Instagram to share the selfie. He was pictured standing at a petrol station while striking a pose. All was well, except for the position of his face mask.
The protective gear was not covering Malume's nose and Instagram user taniagumedel2 was quick to point it out by saying:
"Malume the nose goes inside the mask."

"Your mask grootman..."
Others, however, did not seem to notice and complimented Makoya Bearings for looking good.
Insta user kagiso.xaba said:
"My baby doing the most."

"Salute njayami. (Salute, my dawg.)"
Interestingly, the DJ was posing at a garage that looked similar to the one where Zodwa Wabantu was pictured dancing. Zodwa Wabantu, who is signed to Tira's label, was also pictured drinking and dancing in public during Level 4 lockdown when such activities were banned.
