Life is not always rainbows and sunshine, in fact for most people, it's hard more than 50% of the time. A young lady, @Thembisile_Q recently headed online to share just how hard life has been for her as she turns 32.

"Turning 32 next month, no house, no car, no husband, no kids. Just me. The kicker in this is I never prepared for this age. I thought I'd be dead by now. Here I am still trying to navigate things I should've done in my 20s. Life is hard," she wrote sadly.

"I'm turning 39 next month. No job, no house, no car, no relationship. I'm approaching the big age with nothing to show for it, and this is the reason why I don't celebrate my birthday."

In some light-hearted news, Briefly.co.za reported that the road to success is not always an easy one especially for many South Africans who live in the direst circumstances. A young man recently helped other people from poor backgrounds see that where there is a will to succeed there is definitely a way to succeed.

Taking to Facebook Maake Shadrack shared an inspirational post about how he had slept on the floor as a student working hard to obtain a qualification that would catapult him from his poor circumstances to a better life.

"*2 years of sleeping on the floor at 25 Mathivha Street, Mankweng Zone 1, and one year of being a squatter on-campus taught me to never give up in life and continue enduring even when there's no sign of change.
