Social media platforms have been inundated with messages of shock and disbelief at the news of AKA's fiancé Nellie Tembe's tragic death.

When the news first broke there were conflicting reports with many simply not believing that the young 22-year-old had died. She was set to be married soon to the love of her life.

However, when reports confirmed the tragic news, Mzansi took to social media to react to the incident.

Earlier, Briefly News reported that 22-year-old Nelli Tembe has tragically died after allegedly falling from the five-star Pepperclub Hotel in Cape Town. She was the fiancé of a popular South African rapper AKA, real name Jarryd Forbes.

Details are not clear about what happened but according to Times Live Forbes and Tembe's family would release a statement.

A source close to the rapper has said that he is inconsolable with grief. According to the Western Cape SA Police Service media liaison Capt FC van Wyk, the crime scene is being investigated and a case has been opened.
