DJ City Lyts has responded to the shade that Emtee threw at him because of the production of the Roll Up video. A fan started the conversation on Twitter when they pointed out that the music video had every big trap music name in the industry.
Responding to the tweet, City Lyts said that he's the reason why all those big names were in the music video and claimed that he hadn't received even as a little as a "thank you" from Emtee.
"I hope one day I’ll get a thank you for making this video possible, from the drip to the launch. Ninjaz forget easily," he said.
Emtee responded to City Lyts by saying that he may not have said "Thank you" in words but he offered him a place to stay and gave him a smash hit. City then responded by saying, "Haibo Mthembeni."
After that tweet, City Lyts took to the timeline to make it known that he was not trying to stir up any trouble. He insisted that Emtee misunderstood his tweet and didn't want to start a fight.
“Hai maan guys you all know that nobody owned a place at that time, can I please leave this bad energy alone," he said.
