Cassper Nyovest Accused of Stealing New Song 'Angiso Guys' From Mpura

Cassper Nyovest has been accused of stealing his new Amapiano hit Angisho Guys. The award-winning musician allegedly stole the song from Amapiano producer Mpura.

Mufasa dropped the banger on Friday, 30 April. Mpura dropped the jam with the same title a few weeks before Cass dropped his. The songs' choruses also sound similar.

Cassper features hot Amapiano vocalist Lady Du on his new track. Lady Du took to Twitter over the weekend to share her thoughts on the accusations. Many of her and Cassper's fans told her that Mpura released the track back in March.

Lady Du, who has worked with Mpura on a couple of songs, shared that the song belongs to Cass.

"He took a song out of the original studio. That’s wrong JR, that’s why it didn’t go anywhere!!! You can steal the plan but not the vision."

The singer added that she'll never ever choose loyalty over honesty after some fans accused her of taking Cassper's side.

"I CANT STAND LIES!! If I lose a friend over honesty that’s fine. Lies need 10 other stories and I don’t have that time mina. Aniyekeni ukubullshita amafans wenu, stappppppp it."

A tweep @Sbusiso53641822 took to Lady Du's comment section and shared that the song was there even before Mpura dropped his.

"The song was there long time ago before even Mpura released his. If you can listen to Balcony Mix Ft Kabza De Small On 55:00 you will hear the song but it features AmaRoto."

Some tweeps accused Lady Du and Cass of creating the drama to promote the newly-released banger. Replying to those tweeps, Lady Du said:

"I have never needed hype for things, I hate drama, I answered a question I was asked. Mpura and I worked together I have nothing against him personally. If yena uoff andizi Mina. People like the song because of what we did to it not because of the drama."

In related news, Briefly News reported that Cassper Nyovest took to social media to share a snippet of his new Amapiano song, Angisho Guys. Mufasa features one of the hottest vocalists in the genre currently, Lady Lu.

He took to Twitter and Instagram on Thursday night to share that he will drop the banger on Friday morning, 30 April. The star wrote:

"New music dropping at midnight featuring the superstar @djladydu . Link in my bio!!! Run it up!!!"

The musician's fans took to his comment section to share their thoughts on the song's teaser. @remyblack07 wrote:

"Mara Lady Du has that thing man! Kore I can feel her on that track already."
