FREE STATE — The Free State South African Police Service has called on members of the public to assist in locating a 23-year-old police constable who disappeared from her home in Mangaung earlier this week.
Constable Mpho Sehloho, who was stationed at Parkroad Detectives, was last seen on Sunday, 7 September 2026, after leaving her residence in the Rocklands area, Mangaung. SAPS issued a public statement on Wednesday, 9 September, confirming her disappearance and appealing for assistance.
"At the time of her disappearance, Constable Sehloho was wearing blue jeans and a brown top. Her current whereabouts are unknown," the Free State police said in their statement.

An investigation has been opened by police to trace her location.

Authorities are directing anyone with relevant information to contact the investigating officer, Constable Bernice Kiewiets of Mangaung Detectives, directly on 071 825 6860.
