The suspect who allegedly attacked comedian Dave Chappelle while he was dishing out jokes on stage has been charged. It's reported that Isaiah Lee is facing battery, possession of a weapon with intent to assault, unauthorised access to stage are during a performance and commission of an act that delays and event.

Isaiah apparently interfered with the US funny man at a comedy show held at the Hollywood Bowl recently. After the suspect allegedly attacked the actor, fellow comedian Chris Rock to the stage and threw it back to the night of his slap at the Oscars. He jokingly asked if the man who jumped on stage was Will Smith.
The Shade Room reports that attorney Mike Feuer shared a video statement about the attack on Dave Chappelle. Feuer shared that his office is going to "vigorously" prosecute the case.

Many people took to the outlet's timeline to question how Isaiah made it on stage in the first place. They felt that security guards should have stopped him way before the attack took place.

Chappelle was charged by a man armed with a knife and a fake gun at the Hollywood Bowl during a comedy night event. According to Page Six, the 48-year-old comedian was on stage during the “Netflix Is A Joke” festival when he was attacked by 23-year-old Isaiah Lee.
After security officers had quelled the tense situation, comedian Chris Rock climbed on stage and took the microphone. He jokingly queried:
"Was that Will Smith?"
