Who owns Africa Fashion International (AFI)?

What other changes have happened at the Miss SA Organisation?
According to numerous reports by Briefly News, several changes have taken place at the Miss South Africa Organisation since the beginning of 2025.
The Miss South Africa Organisation left Mzansi concerned after several announcements. In June 2025, Stephanie Weil announced she was stepping down as CEO of the national beauty pageant organisers after taking over from her late mother, Suzanne, in 2019. That wasn’t the only change the Miss South Africa Organisation announced.

In May 2025, the organisation made an announcement that left fans questioning its future. The organisers of the Miss South Africa beauty pageant confirmed that they had withdrawn reigning Miss SA Mia le Roux from the Miss Supranational 2025 competition, months after withdrawing her from the Miss Universe competition.
The organisation clarified that it would not be sending the reigning Miss SA nor the runner-up, Nompumelelo Maduna, because it had indefinitely withdrawn from the Miss Supranational competition after deciding not to renew its license. This means Miss South Africa will not be competing in the Miss Supranational competition until the organisation decides to renew its license.
