South African reality TV star Jojo Robinson has been diagnosed with skin cancer, and this revelation was made recently via her Instagram stories.
Jojo Robinson reveals she has cancer
In a candid moment, the Real Housewives Ultimate Girls' Trip: South Africa star said doctor found cancer cells in her chest and back areas. On her stories this week, Robinson got emotional as she said she is still waiting to conduct further tests to determine the severity of the cancer. This will help determine whether she should get skin graft, adding that doctors are unsure of the severity of the cancer.
“I found out a few weeks ago that I have skin cancer and I have to have surgery next week to have it removed. It's the invasive ones, and I might get skin grafts. The problem that I have now is that my my body is 90% covered in tattoos, so where do I get skin from?” she asked.

“We do not not know how deep they are and I am hoping they have not gone into the bone, because apparently they can. I have had some of them for many years and I just di not know that it was cancer.”
Jojo recently announced plans to start a YouTube channel with her husband Calven Robinson after he announced his retirement. She might speak about her journey on the show, Retired with the Robinsons after admitting that she never intended to speak about this publicly.
Jojo explains cancer is genentic
In her moment of vulnerability, Robinson said the cancer was not caused by her boyd being covered in tattoos. She said her mother had it, meaning it is heredity.
“It has nothing to do with the tattoos, because it is in my genes; my mom had it, and the African sun. I have very light skin.”

“It has been a lot these past few weeks. I just do not talk about it, I am just quiet. The people in my life that I thought would care just do not message me, do not speak to me. They just don’t care.”
