Broadcaster Heidi Giokos has broken her silence following her departure from eNCA, confirming that she has landed a new role at SABC News. The journalist took to X on Wednesday, 2 September 2026, to share her first photo from The Full View studio set and announce she will anchor The Full View on Fridays and Saturdays on Channel 404.

"Beyond excited to begin this new chapter. I'm proud to officially announce that I have joined the SABC News Channel, where I'll be anchoring The Full View on Fridays and Saturdays. Here's to giving a voice to all, and continuing to uphold the values of good, truthful and ethical journalism. Thank you all for the love and support you've shown me! See you all on 404," Giokos wrote.

The SABC announced her appointment as Weekend Presenter of The Full View on Monday, 31 August 2026, with a formal media statement issued by Group Communications through Nhlanhla Mnguni. The appointment comes roughly a month after Giokos was dismissed from eNCA in July 2026, following a disciplinary process linked to an unauthorised commercial appearance.
