Actress Winnie Ntshaba has made her long-awaited return to 'Generations: The Legacy', stepping back onto the SABC1 soapie set 21 years after she first appeared on the show. Fans who have been counting down since her comeback was announced earlier this year finally got to see Khethiwe Buthelezi back in action on Tuesday, 1 September 2026.
Ntshaba, who turned 51 this year, shared a deeply personal message to mark the occasion.
"I was 30 years old in 2005 when I got a chance to be part of Generations; today I turned 51 after 21 years; I am back to say the line I said back in 2005….. Sawubona Bhut'Tau," she wrote. The actress described the moment as nothing short of divine.
"What a God-ordained moment…. What a full circle moment. Not only am I celebrating 51 years of life, but tonight watch my return on @generations_the_legacy at 8:30 pm. GOD, you are so good to me. I am a storyteller."
