Cassper Nyovest has broken his silence after a chilling video of a broad-daylight shooting outside the University of Johannesburg's Doornfontein Campus began circulating on X, leaving many South Africans shaken and furious.
The footage, which appears to have been captured from street level near a gated vehicle entrance, shows the aftermath of the attack. According to the original post by @K1hood_hero, two people were gunned down inside a seven-seater by an unknown hitman near UJ Doornfontein Campus, an area frequented by students heading to their residences. SAPS and forensics reportedly arrived on the scene shortly after.
Cassper's reaction to the UJ shooting
Reacting to the clip, Cassper, who goes by @casspernyovest on X, was visibly disturbed by the calm demeanour of the shooter. The rapper's post resonated with thousands, quickly drawing a wave of responses from Mzansi. He wrote:

CCTV footage showed Reiger Park shooting
Video footage allegedly showing Reiger Park suspect Regan Collis at home during the deadly shooting surfaced online over the weekend.
Hawks spokesperson Katlego Mogale said investigators remain confident in their case, insisting the footage will be dealt with in court.
