Businessman and former Backstage actor Dini Nondumo caused a buzz on social media this week when he was appointed as the CEO of an insurance company.
Nondumo, who starred opposite actress Thahira Syed on the eTV soapie and Generations, left the limelight after exiting the SABC1 soapie.
Social media user Business Xplain shared Nondumo's appointment on his X account on Wednesday, 7 October 2026.
He captioned the post: "Compendium Insurance Brokers has appointed Dini Nondumo as its new chief executive. Nondumo brings more than 20 years of leadership experience across insurance, banking, technology and investment businesses. His previous roles include senior positions at Standard Bank Insurance, Land Bank Insurance Company and Hollard partner Dimaru. Compendium believes Nondumo’s experience in commercial insurance, distribution and business transformation will support its next phase of expansion."
