Sean "Diddy" Combs' time behind bars just got a little longer. Bureau of Prisons (BOP) records confirm that the 56-year-old rapper's projected release date has shifted once more, now landing on 2 March 2028, pushed back from the previously listed date of 21 January 2028.
No official reason has been given for the adjustment. The BOP told People it does not discuss individual inmates' circumstances, stating:
"For privacy, safety and security reasons, we do not comment on the conditions of confinement for any incarcerated individual, including reasons for a change in release date."
Diddy's own representative confirmed the team was equally in the dark.

Allegations of a lavish prison lifestyle
The date change arrives alongside a wave of reports about what life allegedly looks like for Diddy at FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey. Earlier this month, reports surfaced claiming he had been moved to the Special Housing Unit, a section of the facility commonly known as solitary confinement. No connection between that move and the revised release date has been established.
NBC News previously reported that Diddy allegedly spent thousands of dollars monthly recreating comforts of his wealthy lifestyle while incarcerated. According to the outlet's sources, people were allegedly brought in to cook and clean for him, while others reportedly made his bed, handled his laundry, and gave him Chinese-style massages. Diddy's spokesperson pushed back on the coverage.
