DJ Black Coffee is keeping South Africa's flag flying high on the global dance music stage. The award-winning Durban-born DJ and producer revealed on Wednesday, 7 October 2026, that he has secured the 14th spot on the DJ Mag Top 100 DJs 2026 poll, one of the most recognised rankings in the electronic music world.

Sharing the promotional graphic on X, Black Coffee expressed heartfelt gratitude to everyone who cast a vote in his favour.

"Another year, another gracious jump in the @DJmag Top 100 DJs poll. Each of your votes means the world to me; your continued support makes this journey special in every way 🙏🏿❤️," he wrote.

DJ Black Coffee rises on DJ Mag Top 100 DJs

The placement at number 14 marks yet another year of upward movement for the We Dance Again hitmaker. In 2025, he ranked 17th, which was itself a seven-place improvement from 24th in 2024. The consistent climb reflects growing international recognition of his Afro-house sound and his influence on the global electronic music landscape.

This year's top 10 was dominated by European and international heavyweights, with French superstar David Guetta taking the top spot, followed by Martin Garrix from the Netherlands and Anyma from the United States. Brazil's Alok came in fourth, while Belgian duo Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike rounded out the top five. Charlotte de Witte, Armin van Buuren, Timmy Trumpet, FISHER, and Vintage Culture completed the top 10.
