Former Uzalo and The Queen actor Kay Sibiya has failed to impress Inimba viewers with his latest character on Mzansi Magic's Inimba.

Sibiya's character is a lawyer who is representing Zoleka (Lunathi Mampofu) through her divorce with Hlathi (Sisa Hewana).

Viewers of the popular telenovela have been raving about the isiXhosa telenovela since it aired on Mzansi Magic earlier this year.

Entertainment commentator Jabu McDonald criticised Kay Sibiya's character on his X account on Wednesday, 10 September 2025.

"This character is just making the actor look bad really."

@OreeditseMawela said:

"Divorces can always be contested, and there must be some form of mediation where Hlathi compromise, them being apart for 20 years is grounds, but another dynamic is that Hlathi raised Qawekaxi for 20 years and supported her financially alone while Zoleka was earning dollars."

"I was expecting him to make miracles, but he is just as delusional. He gave her the possible solutions as well, and they are in accordance with the law. What more is he expected to do. Hay maan."

@thato_stalion said:

"Any lawyer would be confused because all these solutions come from a place of desperation and have little to do with the question why Hlathi is not legally entitled to half."
