Award-winning rapper and actress Deko Barbara-Jessica Wedi, known as Rouge The Rapper, has confirmed her role on eTV's popular soapie Scandal!
The long-running soapie made headlines earlier this year when eTV announced its cancellation after 20 years on television.
The musician-turned-actress confirmed her new role on her X account on Wednesday, 1 April 2026.
"Announcement! Cats out of the bag. I have officially joined a new family. See you on @etvScandal," said the rapper.

The soapie also confirmed the rapper's latest character as Sanka's sister, Darlene, in a clip on its X account on Wednesday, 1 April 2026.
"Peep the lyrics… Darlene has entered the chat. Sanka’s sister, here to do what?! Go on, finish it! Welcome to the #etvScandal family, Rouge," said the show.
