Peter Knights is a wildlife champion committed to battling wildlife trafficking and promoting conservation. His efforts persuaded over 150 airlines to stop transporting wild birds, reduced US imports of wild birds from 800,000 to 40,000, and drove legislative reforms in Taiwan, China, Singapore, and Hong Kong that banned shark fin and ivory sales. In 2000, Peter co-founded WildAid, serving as Executive Director, CEO, and president for 22 years. In 2022, Peter and his wife Corie founded the Wild Africa Fund, a dedicated organisation focused solely on African conservation.
