Boys from Northwood High School showcased a brilliant display of energy and dedication when they belted out an anthem in honour of the Springboks. Their team spirit sparked admiration among social media users far and wide.
On 26 August, 2025, the TikTok account RugbyPass shared the clip of the boys, which opened with one of the learners' bodies painted half green and half gold. The video then cuts to several learners on the stands opposite an open field, chanting the following:
"Green and gold are in our flag. 2023, we had the World Cup in our hands. Kolisi is our captain, and Rassie is our man. All Blacks have no chance, we're gonna keep it in our hands.

Anthem gets the internet talking
Many social media users loved the performance honouring the rugby champions. On the other hand, some couldn't help but take a dig at the Springboks after they lost 38-22 against Australia at Ellis Park Stadium on 16 August, 2025.
Fortunately, the Springboks bounced back during the match at Cape Town Stadium on 23 August, 2025, winning 30-22.
