A man who reviewed Harare Gardens shared a glowing rating in a video on TikTok on 9 October that has left many people rethinking what they know about Zimbabwe's capital. The TikToker, known as @bash.daniels, filmed himself walking through the park on a bright afternoon, clearly delighted by what he found.

Jacaranda trees in full purple bloom framed the pathways, a fountain ran cleanly, and city buildings rose in the background. He described the space as Harare's version of New York's Central Park. He said in the clip:
"This is the Central Park of Harare. Everything is functioning. It's clean. It's looking wonderful."
