Devi Sankaree Govender's warning to crooks

Before anyone in the shadier corners of South African business could breathe a sigh of relief, Govender had a pointed message ready. She was firm that her departure from the show does not mean retirement from accountability journalism.

"To my dear crooks — don't celebrate too early — I'm moving to a bigger space, and I have very interesting plans for 'us'," she said.
She also reassured her loyal viewers directly: "I'm not disappearing off your screens. The world is changing, and so is the way we connect. I want to meet you where you are and explore new possibilities."

A separate video post captured the essence of what the show stood for, with Govender declaring that after six years of chasing criminals through South Africa's streets, it was "mission accomplished."
