She arrived at 4 am, running on just three to four hours of sleep, all to make sure a matriculant named Katelynn would have her dream moment. The video, posted on @grace._mondlana's TikTok, drew attention partly because of a separate controversy involving commentator Yanda Woods, who relayed commentary that the dresses were ugly.
The dress had already been shipped on Monday and arrived by Tuesday, but it did not fit. Grace sorted it out in time, and by the day of the dance, the dress fitted perfectly. She made the trip carrying only the accessories.

Who Is Katelynn?
Katelynn is a Grade 12 learner at a school for children with learning disabilities. Raised by her grandmother and her now-late grandfather, her story moved Grace deeply. "Her story touched the teacher in me," Grace said in the video, "because her disabilities did not stop her from dreaming."

To honour Katelynn's grandfather, Grace bought a picture frame and placed a photo of him inside so Katelynn could take a picture beside it on her big day. At the mall, Grace also replaced shoes that did not fit and bought a steamer after the prep team forgot theirs at home. Katelynn got ready at her brother's salon while Grace ran the errands.
