South African influencer Grace Mondlana evoked a strong emotional response online after posting a throwback vacation photo with her late ex-boyfriend, Sipho Zulu, on 19 August 2026, alongside Lilzell's song Forever, which many interpreted as a testament to her enduring feelings for him.
Alongside the post, Mondlana offered a candid look into how the trip was funded, revealing that the two had maxed out their PayJustNow accounts just to make the getaway happen.
"We maxed out our PayJustNow accounts to afford the trip."
Zulu passed away on 29 June 2025 following a fatal car accident. By the time of his death, he and Mondlana had already ended their roughly five-year relationship.

Despite the split, Mondlana stepped up to support his family during the mourning period and alluded in a letter to having covered the costs of his funeral arrangements.
The gesture did not go without scrutiny, however, as Briefly News previously reported on the public backlash Mondlana faced for her behaviour around his passing, with many on social media describing it as disturbing and outrageous.
