"How do U fire a coach who inherited a redundant squad and was never given an opportunity to sign the players he wants and build his own team? But on the other hand its our beloved chiefs we talking about here they don’t want someone who will challenge them."

Meanwhile, Briefly News previously reported that despite the backlash he has received from some of the club's fans, who are preparing a protest on 5 June, Orlando Pirates coach Josef Zinnbauer says there are some spectators who are enthusiastic about how things have been going for the team.

Fans have been vocal about their dissatisfaction with the German-born coach on social media for some time, urging the club's management to fire him. Some Pirates have called for Zinnbauer's dismissal after the Buccaneers were eliminated from the CAF Confederation Cup quarter-finals after losing 5-1 on aggregate against Raja Casablanca, according to a report by The Citizen.

According to Soccer Laduma, Kaizer Chiefs fans recently organised a march to Naturena to express their unhappiness with the club and hand over a statement of grievances and Pirates fans are now following in their rivals' footsteps.
