Orlando Pirates have reportedly received yet another huge bid from a new club for Bafana Bafana star Relebohile Mofokeng amid ongoing transfer speculation this summer.

The South African international has been struggling with his form since the start of the 2025-26 season, and he's yet to replicate last season's performance that earned him the PSL's Young Player of the Season award, which marks the second time he’s won the award.

The winger has been linked with several clubs, including Jose Riveiro's Al Ahly and Saudi Professional League side Al-Ettifaq, the club that recently signed Mohau Nkota from Pirates earlier this summer.

Pirates Receive Massive Offer for Mofokeng

According to reports from American journalist Tom Bogert, Minnesota United FC has tabled a massive offer higher than $2 million (R35 million) for Mofokeng.

It is said that talks are ongoing between both clubs, but it is yet to be clear if the Bafana Bafana forward will leave the PSL giants this summer.

Minnesota United FC already has a South African, Bongokuhle Hlongwane, doing wonders in their squad and believes the addition of Mofokeng would elevate the team further.
