Actress and singer Anlia Etzebeth, wife of Springbok lock Eben Etzebeth, was celebrated in style over the weekend as family and close friends gathered for her baby shower.

The couple, who are expecting their second daughter, first shared the news a few months ago to much excitement from fans and fellow sports personalities.

Since then, they’ve been enjoying quality family time, with Eben even taking a short break from rugby for a family vacation. Although he couldn’t attend the baby shower due to Springbok duties in New Zealand, the occasion was marked with joy and love.

Anlia shared glimpses of the intimate celebration on social media. The shower carried a wildflower theme, a nod to her playful description of her unborn child as her “wild one.”

Dressed in a fitted yellow gown, Anlia posed among a burst of colourful floral arrangements while enjoying the day with her nearest and dearest.

What has Anlia said about family?

Since marrying Eben, the performer has taken a step back from her career to focus on family life. Speaking previously to TimesLive, she explained:

“I decided I wanted to put family first and be a mom first, raising my girl. I love being a mom, and I love being a wife to Eben and supporting him. Playing that role is bigger than any role I could imagine.”

Eben Etzebeth breaks Springbok caps record

Briefly News previously reported that the Springboks veteran Eben Etzebeth made history on Saturday 16 August 2025 at Ellis Park Stadium in the Rugby Championship clash against Australia.
