Springbok scrumhalf Faf de Klerk gave fans a rare glimpse into family life on Sunday, 13 September 2026. He posted new photos to Instagram showing his wife Miné and their two little daughters together, captioning the post simply:
"Our little team 🤍."
The images feature Miné alongside daughters Remi-Ré and Yuke, and the warmth in the photos had followers in the comments section pouring out their affection for the growing de Klerk family.
From long distance to a family of four
The road to this moment was not always easy. Faf and Miné van Niekerk first met through mutual friends in 2015, but their relationship was put to the test when Faf's rugby career took him to England. He spent four seasons with Sale Sharks in the English Premiership between 2017 and 2021, while Miné remained in South Africa.

The couple stayed the course through those years apart. Faf proposed on 19 May 2022, and the two married just months later on 1 October 2022 at La Paris Estate in Franschhoek.
Their family grew quickly after that. Their first daughter, Remi-Ré, arrived in 2024. Yuke followed in November 2025, making Faf and Miné parents of two under two within the space of a year.
