As the world continues to celebrate and laud Thuso Mbedu for her performance on The Underground Railroad, the actress has taken the time to thank her co-stars.
Earlier this month, Thuso began a series of appreciation tributes on Instagram with a lengthy message for her director Barry Jenkins.
In honour of her co-star William Jackson Harper, who plays Royal, she put her heart out on Instagram. Thuso described what it's like working with the actor, who is best known for his role as Chidi Anagonye on the NBC comedy The Good Place, as a "luxury."
"What a great honour and privilege it was to work and play with you. You are so kind and gentle-hearted and goofy! Picking your brain was always great," said Thuso.

William had become a safe haven for her and someone she could trust while he went through the emotional experience of bringing Cora to life.
"Thank you for trusting me as well, we share similar scars which made me feel very understood in the moment. You're awesome, William! Stay shining!” said the actress.
Briefly News previously reported that Thuso Mbedu previously tried getting her big break by auditioning for Big Brother Africa. Thuso Mbedu may be starring in the Amazon series The Underground Railroad but she tried really hard to make it in the industry before.
According to Podcast and Chill co-host Sol Phenduka, Thuso tried auditioning for Big Brother Africa many years ago but didn't make it. This happened back in 2014 and Sol made it into the house but he didn't end up winning the R1 million cash prize.
Sol says that the first time he met Thuso was during the auditions and he admired how far she has come since then. Trying to get a big break in the entertainment industry is not easy but Thuso has worked really hard to get to where she is now.
