Hungani & Stephanie Ndlovu Share Their Dreaded Covid 19 Experience: "Dololo Taste"

Hungani and Stephanie Ndlovu both caught the dreaded Covid-19 virus and recently took to YouTube to share their experience. Sharing a length video on their YouTube channel, Hungani and Stephanie explained how their symptoms started around Mother’s Day. Steph was first and Hungani followed.

“On Saturday before Mother’s Day, the Friday, I went for a shoot and managed to shoot the whole day. And the Saturday I wake up with dololo taste. It’s gone. Like I have no taste, I have zero smell.”

Aside from the awful symptoms, Hungani and Stephanie said that the hardest part was staying cooped up in the house but apart from one another – they quarantined separately.

“Besides from the loss of taste and a little bit of the tight chest, I think the most difficult thing was isolating from each other in the house. We were not sleeping in the same room. Pretty much not eating in the same space. Medically that’s what's recommended because of the spreading of germs.”

Briefly News previously reported that Hungani Ndlovu and his wife Stephanie are encouraging people who are going through tough times not to give up.

The Ndlovus took to their popular YouTube channel to talk about a time in their lives where they wanted to throw in the towel. The couple spoke about how there were challenges for them when they started out their YouTube channel. Stephanie said that they started feeling the pressure because fans were always expecting quality content from them.

"It was exhausting and there was a lot of times when we both felt like we wanted to give up," she said.
