Viral Clip of Taxi Plunging Into Massive Pothole in Johannesburg Horrifies Saffs As They Tag Fikile Mbalula

• A video of a minibus taxi falling into a hole that was in the middle of the road was posted on Twitter
• Peeps were in shock after seeing the clip and tagged the Minister of Transport, Fikile Mbalula to see the road's state
• Other peeps suggested that the hole was dug out by construction workers who left it without closing it

Yusuf Abramjee posted footage that showed a taxi crashing into a hole in the middle of the road in Johannesburg's CBD on Twitter. There were no road markings to warn motorists of the road failure which baffled peeps online.

It's unclear what caused the hole and whether Johannesburg's municipality is aware of it, but in the video, the taxi driver seemed shaken as he stumbled away from the taxi.

The shocking Twitter clip got peeps talking about the state that Johannesburg's CBD is in. Peeps dragged the Minister of Transport Fikile Mbalula and claimed that he is slipping up. Other people suggested that it was perhaps a manhole that was grossly neglected as opposed to a pothole.

Taxi caught on video swerving across busy road before crashing into SUV, Mzansi horrified by recklessness

There are many hair raising clips online involving taxi drivers and the manner with which they drive. According to Briefly News, a chilling video showing a taxi driver veering all over the road and ultimately having a serious collision has left the cyber community horrified.

The clip was shared by Twitter account @crimeairnetwork and shows that the footage was taken by persons travelling in the vehicle behind the taxi. The taxi is seen veering in and out of the traffic lane for a while before it drives completely onto the roadside of the highway.

The driver quickly tries to get back on the road but crashes into an SUV on the neighbouring lane. The two vehicles collide into each other in the middle of the road, sending one man (presumably the driver) flying out of the taxi.
