Lerato Sengadi still has far to go before she will truly and undeniably be accepted as HHP's wife.

Sunday World reports that the late hip-hop musician's former business partner at Lekoko Entertainment, Seabelo Modibe, says she's not suitable to accept his Lifetime Achievement Award at the SAMAs.

“She must stop using Jabulani’s name for publicity, she is not Jabulani’s wife as they were not married.
"She cannot use the previous court order which declared her the legal wife of Jabulani because the family was granted leave to appeal by the same court. The leave to appeal automatically rescinds the court’s previous decision which declared her Jabu’s legitimate wife.”

This comes after HHP's family refused to accept Lerato as his wife, saying there was never any lobola paid, making it difficult for her to be respected.

However, as reported on by ZAlebs, Lerato is fighting back. She reacted to Seabelo's comments by sharing a statement on social media.

Briefly.co.za learnt that Lerato said that as HHP's customary wife, she was able to apply to the SAMAs and Recording Industry of SA to accept his award on his behalf.
