Orlando Pirates can’t buy a win at the moment.

It’s been a tough time for interim coach Rulani Mokwena and his chargers following the departure of Milutin Sredojevic.

The Buccaneers played out to a goalless draw with Golden Arrows, which has stretched their winless run to six matches.

Mokwena has been at the helm for the last four matches and pressure is slowly mounting on him as well.

Some football followers have speculated that Pirates may use the upcoming international break as an opportunity to possibly appoint a new coach.

Soccer Laduma have reported that former club legend Steve Lekoelea is completely against this idea.

Lekoelea said, “I understand there are a lot of things happening around the team as their head coach recently resigned and Rulani is in charge as their caretaker coach.”

Briefly.co.za gathered that many Pirates supporters expressed frustration following the team’s loss to Highlands Park in the MTN8.

Lekoelea added, “We don’t know what’s going to happen but I am quite certain that the team is in capable hands under Rulani, as he knows the players. The club made the right decision in appointing Rulani,” added Lekoelea.

The Buccaneers’ first match after the international break will be against Bidvest Wits.
