Local actress, Gugu Gumede, is seeing beauty much differently these days.

The actress is embracing natural looks by growing a gorgeous afro of her own, rather than wearing weaves all the time.

According to TimesLIVE, Gugu used to feel less secure when leaving her home without a weave but has started to accept her natural hair.

The Uzalo actress has been showing off her natural hairstyle more and more on social media and she looks stunning.

Briefly.co.za gathered that she told Move magazine that she likes her afro, but knows that not everyone will find it attractive.

"I used to wear wigs because I just didn’t feel beautiful without them. I’m fine with my hair in it is natural state but most people would not see it as beautiful ... Beauty is so subjective. It is definitely a state of mind. Beauty has to be an internal thing; you cannot think beauty is someone’s stamp of approval or validation of who you are."

Zozibini is so stunning (inside and out) that it has been predicted that she might just take the Miss World crown as well.
