Duma is joining a long list of characters to have been written out of the soapie.

One of Isibaya's best-loved characters to be written out of the show was Thandeka, who was played by Nomzamo Mbatha.

Earlier this year, Briefly.co.za reported that Nomzamo had celebrated her first year of living and pursuing a career in the States.

The stunner was also lucky enough to be able to treat her mom to her first overseas trip this year.

A while ago, Briefly.co.za reported that the adored actress reacted to a video with farewell messages dedicated to her and admitted that it left her in tears.

Some of the actors from Isibaya thanked Nomzamo for her hard work and for teaching them to persevere, as well as expressed their fondness for her.
