Bonang Matheba makes fan’s day by spreading festive cheer

Bonang Matheba recently made a fan super happy after greeting them in public. The super excited fan took to social media to share that she saw Bonang driving her G wagon and had to get her attention.

Sharing her story on Twitter, app user @mandymphela posted a video of herself waving frantically at Queen B. She explained that she was in a bus when she saw Bonang driving next to them. She said:

“I was inside the Gautrain Bus, I had to ask the driver to open the door because wow :I love this women so much: @bonang_m pelo yaka Ke e sweu after seeing you:"

Bonang, being the nice Moghel that she is, returned the fan’s greetings and even offered a friendly wave. She later shared that the excited fan made her day.

"You made my day! Merry Christmas boo"

Social media users loved the sweet interaction between the pair.

Meanwhile, Briefly.co.za reported that Bonang Matheba announced that the MTV Africa Music Awards will be returning with a ceremony in 2021.

Queen B was the host of a press conference and announced the news on behalf of MTV Base and MTV Africa.

The MTV Africa Music Awards, or MAMAs, celebrate and reward the very best talent that African countries have to offer. The ceremony will be broadcast virtually, on BET Entertainment and on MTV affiliate channels when it airs next year.

Bonang also mentioned that the spectacle will feature performances from cross-genre collaborations and artists from different countries across the continent.

The nominees for the awards will be announced in December 2020 and fans will have the chance to cast their votes for their favourite artists online.

Queen B captioned her post on Instagram by asking her followers how excited they were for the return of the awards show:

"bonang_m: ....the MTV Africa Music Awards are back...keen?!!"

Followers commented on how stunning Bonang looked while performing her hosting duties:
