New Zealand says goodbye to 2020, celebrates 2021 with fireworks

- New Zealand is one of the countries of the world already celebrating 2021 as other nations are waiting to be ushered into the new year

- The country joins other nations like Tonga, Samoa, Kiribati/Christmas Island in celebrating the new year first

- 2020 came with a lot of challenges and people around the world hope 2021 will be a better year

As the world waits to walk into 2021 in some hours from now, New Zealand is already celebrating the new year with fireworks.

In a video that was shared on Twitter by Bloomberg Quicktake, beautiful fireworks could be seen announcing the beginning of a new year as the people immersed themselves in celebration.

Other countries that are also in 2021 already include the small pacific island nations of Tonga, Samoa and Kiribati/Christmas Island.

Tweeps took to the comment section of the post to celebrate the new year.

In other news Briefly.co.za reported that an SA lady spent the last morning of 2020 taking breathtaking pictures. A young South African woman is saying goodbye to 2020 and she is doing so wonderfully. The beautiful young queen can be seen braving a clearly dangerous waterfall to take some stunning pictures - and boy are they stunning.

The post that was made by TuttiRamzy on Twitter, features herself laying down in what looks like the most refreshing water that overlooks a waterfall that is graciously yet viciously spilling water down the beautiful landscape.
