Mzansi musician DBN Gogo has been trending once again on Twitter but this time it's because tweeps uncovered some information about her. She was also trending earlier for her comments on lockdown.

DBN Gogo's real name is Mandisa Radebe and fans recently found out that she's the politician Jeff Radebe's daughter.

DBN Gogo is a skilled DJ and has successfully made a name for herself in the Mzansi music scene. She's made a few hits, including Dakiwe, which was a festive season favourite.

Twitter detectives did some digging and found out that DBN Gogo is indeed the former minister in the presidency, Jeff Radebe's daughter. She's not one to brag about her background and certainly did not use it to get to where she is today.

A number of Mzansi social media users who use Twitter spoke about the fact that she's Jeff's daughter but does not brag about it at all:

@Xhosa_Goddess said: "Only finding out now that DBN Gogo is Jeff Radebe’s daughter. She really worked for herself without using her parent's identity, I love that for her."

@SimplyChuene said: "She may have these prominent connections but let’s not act like DBN Gogo isn’t one of the most talented and hardworking DJs on the scene right now."

@neo_sukude said: "DBN Gogo is humble shem. You guys would know if my uncles were Motsepe and Matamelz."
